Daphnis Hotel

Sweet and cozy place. I didn't know this place was a 4 star hotel until I see it from google. Don't be on a high expectation from a 4 star hotel though.

Right on the water in Golturkbuku with grass, beach, and restaurant. The choices on the day-time menu are limited. The breakfast is very good. Be careful that they don't try to make you pay for the previous person's restaurant/bar bill. Wi-fi is hit or miss and isn't reliable.

Do yourselves a favor and stay at this hotel. They do it all the right way. The views are amazing. Do not hesitate book today.

This hotel has an amazing bar and staff very good cocktails especially barboy Siyabend is brilliant and very friendly.

Rehber is the great server in the hotel! He got anything we need anytime we want ! The best experience ever!

I had a great time at Daphnis but I must mention that Mazlum Gizlenc has been phenomenal. He took care of any need I had. Wonderful staff super friendly and personable. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Without getting into any detail firstly, to wrap up my stay in the hotel with one word, I would say my experience was absolutely abysmal. From the get go when we were introduced to the room, I was shocked to see that the room was tiny beyond belief. The room was so small that the bed takes up 90% of the space and there is just about enough room to shuffle into the bathroom or out the door. Not to mention the bathroom which emitted a ghastly smell of sewage, and had a leaking drain constantly making a repeating tapping sound. Despite my initial shock, I decided to try and ignore my problems so far. The next morning, we sat down for breakfast, and to my delight, everything is free, including your tea, unless you want coffee, in which you have to pay as it somehow isn’t part of the breakfast service. In the evening I went to iron my shirts, and found out that there is no iron provided in the room, probably because there isn’t even space to fit an iron in, so I went to the reception, and they refused to provide one for “security reasons”, however they have a lady who irons for you, at £3.50 per shirt, which is disgustingly costly, especially for families, so be prepared to sell your kidneys to the hotel if you plan to stay here. Despite the countless problems, the beach by the hotel is very beautiful and would definitely recommend for anyone to stay in that bay, but sway clear of this hotel by all means as it was a completely diabolical stay for me and my family. I don’t understand how there are so many decent reviews, but I would never come to this hotel again and feel sorry for anyone who decides to stay there after seeing this review.

Ive been here 3 times. Food and drinks are good. The beach is lovely and it’s in a really nice area. What I really don’t like is the fact that the internet connection is just very poor compared to Istanbul. They really need to upgrade it.
