Dalaman Airport

Big airport but not many places to sit. Had to through two x-ray security checks for our bags and then most people had their hand luggage searched at the gate. It was a pain. The had a McDonald's, KFC and subway in departures so you can get food before flight.

A nice airport, big but not too big, like the airport in Istambule

Quite a place to be. I had no issues the service and the cabin crew are amazing. It might be a bit expensive to have breakfast or lunch at the airport but I believe all airports are expensive.

Make sure you take a lot more money than usual! I wanted to buy a book... the cheapest book available was £14. They do have Mc Donald's and KFC which was a bonus but no where to buy personal items like female products or paracetamol. There are about 4 rounds of security and half of the shops were closed the shops that were open don't always display a price either.

This is an airport that will happily give you appalling service, at sky high prices and the staff do not give the famed Turkish hospitality. We have never seen such disorganisation from ground staff at check in and boarding. The 2 security checks were handled well. What was not acceptable was the third security check, swab, mishandling of my expensive hand luggage items, as they swabbed them. In fact one of your security officers broke a set of Sony headphones, as they just threw all the items back in the case. The Duty Free is an absolute rip off. I buy Brandy and their XO's are about one third to double the normal price. To crown such an appalling experience was the CIP Lounge. This Lounge has now been reported to Priority Pass. The Receptionist was rude. The food was a cold bread bun with reformed soft cheese triangles. No free alcohol and if you wanted to buy a drink it was outrageously priced. It is the worst airport lounge I have been in in 30 years. I will avoid all connections through this awful airport.

It’s well designed and new airport however prices for foods are high with low quality, location is very nice, the view when landing airplane is spectacular

It is so expensive in the "duty free" area. It leaves a bad feeling, when you should be thinking about returning. Our airline said to print your boarding card. So headed for passport control. We had to go back to the check-in area and get a "local airport" boarding card instead. So sad it could be a great place.

Small/medium but nice and functional airport. Much much bigger than cappadocia airport ?. No duty free that i found anywhere, merely coffee shops etc. It has an open smoking ? lounch.
