It's like a forgotten place, there are houses next to it, there are gardens, there is no explanation, who lies about its history, who is there, there is no information here

You're just 100 meters ahead of the main road. It is worth going to see as it is very easy to reach. It's not much, of course they blew it up and emptied it. If you're going to make do with the leftovers now ;) you won't be disappointed if your expectations are low. There is also an uncle selling thyme and figs, you can greet there and have a short chat.

Certainly historically significant place. According to legend, the father of Icarus Daedalus crossed the river and died from the bite of a water snake. At this place the ancient city of Daedalus was built. Unfortunately, this is all that remains of that city. The rock tomb is overgrown with grass and borders on private territory, forgotten and neglected.

Fethiye Göcek arasında giderken Yokuşa tam varmadan sağ tarafta kalıyor.Görebileceğiniz tek şey bir kaya mezarı başka bir şey yok yani.Ama yola yakınlığından 5 dk mola verip gezebilirsiniz.
On the way between Fethiye and Göcek, it is on the right before reaching the slope. The only thing you can see is a rock tomb but nothing else.

It is a rock tomb located on the Fethiye-Muğla highway. Actually its name is DAİDALA / DAEDALA, not Deadala. I also learned this information from the article of a gentleman named Erkmen Senan when I did a little research about this place. For those who are curious, I say read his article. Although it has been destroyed over the years, I think that history and archeology lovers will appreciate and be interested.

It is a place where you can see the sign on the road and stop by in two minutes. There is only one rock tomb, it is quite small, no one cares. There is one brother selling figs, you can just chat :)

It's an amazing place with a great view, the water so clear you can almost see the floor and there is a small beach as well. Just amazing overall

Roadside ruins ?️?️? Supper cool lil 3,000 year old Lycian tomb sitting quite literally right next to a 6 lane highway ? I imagine back in the day this tomb was in the middle of a city.... Today it's 20 minutes from the closest village ??? Super cool how the Turkish transit designers were able to keep this ancient site intact while bringing a massive modern superhighway down the mountainside. Kinda wild to see the old meeting the new in this fashion... Wonder which piece of engineering will last longer ?
