D-Resort Gocek

You should VISIT D-Resort Gocek because it's even more (if that's possible) beautiful than how it looks like in the photos online - and the one I added here! This is a small hotel where you feel like in heaven from their friendly staff to the dream beach awarded with the Blue Flag, which is an international environmental award given to safe, clean beaches from all around the world. Would recommend enjoying the view from their restaurants and tasting their freshly made food. Plus everyone including the guests have been very careful about keeping their distance and masks on while walking around, which made me feel quite comfortable. You should KEEP IN MIND, the hotel service has some work to do. I stayed for two nights only and I was disappointed with the quality of their service for a 5 star hotel because: 1) They send a form to you to fill in with your choices in advance of your visit, however we haven't received a newsletter in our room or any kind of special welcome treatment (no drink, sweets, note or something else). 2) There are small vehicles to bring you to the beach and the hotel was quite empty at the time I visited. The driver was about to take a group of family to the beach and I asked for someone else to take me because there are many vehicles available and I didn't want to sit next to people. The driver was rude and told me "you can sit next to me or you've to wait". I went to the reception to question whether there is one person for this service only. Then they immediately started looking for another staff member. 3) I had a small cut at the beach and I asked for a plaster. The staff said we don't have it. Once again, interesting customer service for a 5-star hotel because I would expect them to reply with something like "please let me check in with my colleagues what we can do for you". While there is more to this review than the mentioned 3 points only - one of the staff tried to steal our heart with a dessert on the house when we asked for their manager's name :) - I will leave it here hoping the management reads this and makes this dream place's service a better fit for a 5-star hotel. Overall, this might be my luck / rare experience with this hotel so please take all with a pinch of salt. I've enjoyed my time at D-resort Gocek and I would recommend you to visit it with right expectations.

the hotel and the beach itself was beautiful — and for such a beautiful place it was sad and frustrating how my friend’s airpod’s disappearance was handled. the airpods were a gift from her students, who pitched in to buy them for her. in order to not lose them when we went out she put them in her suitcase, which was in one of the closets. when we came back a few hours later they were gone. we reached out to the hotel multiple times, explaining they were a gift, that my friend had purposely placed them in her suitcase, and we gave the times we were out of the room. despite this information, all we got in response was “we’ll look into it and get back to you.” the way this was handled by management is not fitting to the aesthetic and image this place is going for. really frustrating, disappointing, and sad. for the price and the services offered we expected to be able to at least leave items in our suitcase without worrying. what would be fitting of a place like this is actually looking into it (instead of just saying it) and then to reimburse for the appropriate costs.

Very decent place. They nicely utilise the lower real estate cost in the city center and offset the distance to the sea by continuously shuttling guest to the beach in golf carts. The staff is well trained and exceptionally nice!

Great rooms and super helpful and friendly staff. Their breakfast is awesome! Very conveniently located to walk through Göcek.

Despite very attentive and precise personnel I have to mark the place only with the 3 stars. First of all, mind that the hotel is not by the sea when planning your trip and stay. Of course when seeing the photos of the beach you might think the hotel is somewhere near. But it’s not. Although transportation is organized perfectly with buggy carts the fact is still there, the walk would take 15 mins which is not sometimes pleasant during hot season. The beach definitely compensates all the disadvantages and deserves a separate review but let’s return to the hotel. Several blocks of the resort are situated on the picturesque canals having few swimming pools among them. The standard rooms in the main building are pretty spacious, bathrooms really well designed and lit. But few points make this hotel’s amenities insufficient to a 5-star one. The mattress is too soft so that it feels you are slowly sinking in it. Some wardrobe doors need repair. The fridge does not correspond to the hotel declared level, as well as the product set inside of it. The windows in the room and in the stairway hall need cleaning. Of course this all has to be done to comply with the reception hall beautiful entourage. Here I would love to once again note the highest level of politeness of the personnel and precision in providing customers’ best service. By the way when ordering transfer the fleet of the hotel’s subcontractor consists of VW cars only. So you can be confident in comfort and safety. Overall the impression of the hotel is good but again as of decent 4*.

Returned to D-Resort after a stay nearly five years ago and they still hold a high level of quality. The staff are friendly, attentive and do their best to make guests feel at home. I stayed in a superior room overlooking the marina and it was as expected - wonderful. The beach is amazing. The sand is white, the water crystal clear blue and you have views of pine tree covered hills and mountains. Q Lounge is a must visit for dinner - a unique venue with delicious food. In short, you will not be disappointed with your stay at D-Resort.

Nice and cozy hotel with comfortable well equiped rooms, modern furniture and all necessary supplies. Calm and quiet area, traditional turkish breakfast, bike rental, gym and spa - everything you need during staying. We have truly enjoyed our stay.
