Havası ve doğal çevrenin korunmuş olması ilçeyi çok özel kılmaktadır. Doğal yapısı, su kaynakları ve yerel ekolojik değerleri ile öne çıkmaktadır. Tüm bu özellikleri nedeniyle Çüngüş eko turizm ve agro turizm merkezlerinden biri olabilecek potansiyeli taşımaktadır. Çüngüş belediyesi bu yönde çalışmalar başlatmış bulunmaktadır.
Çüngüş is one of the districts with the lowest population, located in the northwest of Diyarbakır. Malatya is neighbors with Elazığ and Urfa Adıyaman. Preservation of the air and natural environment makes the district very special. It stands out with its natural structure, water resources and local ecological values. Because of all these features, Çüngüş has the potential to be one of the eco-tourism and agro-tourism centers. Çüngüş Municipality has started studies in this direction.
