★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cizre Tarihi Mezarlığı şehrin güney kesiminde, güneyinden kavisli bir şekilde Cizre dış kale surlarıyla çevrelenmiştir. Mezarlıkta yeni gömü devam ettiği için eski mezarlar ve mezar taşları günden güne kaybolmaktadır. Daha çok Osmanlı son dönemine ait kum taşından yapılmış baş ve ayak taşı şeklinde şahideli mezarlar bulunmaktadır. Bunların tam olarak envanteri yapılmadığı için kesin sayısı belli değildir. Daha çok orta ve batı kesiminde eski doku yoğunlaşmaktadır.
Cizre Historical Cemetery is in the southern part of the city, surrounded by Cizre outer castle walls in a curved way from the south. Old graves and gravestones are disappearing day by day as new burials continue in the cemetery. There are mostly graves with witnesses in the form of head and foot stones made of sandstone belonging to the late Ottoman period. Since these are not fully inventoried, their exact number is not known. Old texture is concentrated mostly in the central and western parts.
