Cip Mesire Yeri yöre halkının özellikle yaz aylarında ve genellikle hafta sonu tatillerinde rağbet ettiği mesire yerlerinden birisidir. Cip Baraj Gölünün maviliği ve mesire yerinin yeşilliği insanlara eşsiz bir doğal güzellik sunmaktadır. Baraj gölünde olta ile balık avcılığı da yapılabilmektedir. Cip Mesire yerinde otopark, çocuk parkı, çeşmeler, W.C., beton piknik masaları, ziyaretçilerin kullanımına sunulmuştur.
Ayrıca Cip Mesire alanı içerisinde, Fırat Üniversitesi Su Ürünleri Bölümüne ait bir Balık Üretme Çiftliği de bulunmaktadır.

Hemen tüm alanda kullanışlı pergoleler her pergoleye ait barbekü mevcut. Yeşil alanlar epeyce. Restaurantın geniş balkonu göl manzarasında çay, soğuk içecekler ve yemek ihtiyacınızı giderebilirsiniz. Camisi güzel. Belli bir mesafe aralıkları ile temiz bakımlı tuvaletleri ihtiyaca fazlası ile cevap verebiliyor.
Tidy, clean, quiet, serene venue. The city center is merely 13 km away. Transportation is easy with regular timetables for Elazig municipal buses and Cip minibuses. Practical pergolas in almost all areas have barbecue belonging to each pergole. A lot of green fields. The large balcony of the restaurant offers tea, cold drinks and meals with lake views. The mosque is beautiful. Clean well-maintained toilets with a range of distance to meet the need more.
