★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Smallish Cinema in Side Novamall. While the women of the family were going to the Bazaar I took the kids to the Novamall. Beside all the shops and other entertainment, there is a cinema as well. They offer movies in dubbed Turkish, but also some movies in the original language of English. I have been to bigger, better, nicer cinema's, but this one was reasonably priced, not overcrowded and offered English language movies. So for the odd day, when it is too hot outside and you don't want to swim, something that you can for sure try out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was taken here by my Turkish language teacher. Had a good night, the cinema is clean and very much designed in the same way as those in the UK. Staff very efficient and listened politely to my attempts to order in their native language......then turned to my teacher to confirm my order. Think I need a few more lessons in order to say I fully understood the film I saw.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm from Alanya and my only complaint is that, there is no Cinemaximum in Alanya. This is what a decent cinema should be like. Spacious halls, smart seating arrangements, steep incline so the person sitting in front of you doesn't block your view. Equipped with good 3D and sound technology, offering movies both dubbed and subtitled which is also a rare find in Alanya. The snacks bar is ridiculously expensive but I guess knowing what we have as "cinema" in Alanya... I guess it's a small price to pay. Please open a branch in Alanya, traveling 2 hours for a movie is not something you can do every weekend.
