Although its real name is 'Urgancı Ahmet Çelebi Mosque', it is known as 'Çınarlı Mosque'. Due to its damage, it was closed to worship before Ramadan 2017. Prayers are performed in the masjid by the municipality.

The restoration is finished and opened to worship. Quite nice.

Bac Cinarli Mosque - Kocaeli It is called "URGANCI AHMET CELEBI MOSQUE" after its founder. While the mosque was a wooden bagdadi filling, it was recently converted into a quarry. It is in the eastern part of the city where İnönü Street starts. Since the eastern gate of the city is located near the mosque, the neighborhood and the mosque were named with this name, since a kind of customs duty was collected here from the caravans coming from the east. The mosque was built in 1933 and opened to worship in the same year. In 1954, the rear congregation section was added. Side additions were made in 1971. Small cracks occurred in the walls of Adapazarı earthquake. In the earthquake of 17 August 1999, cracks appeared on the walls again. It has been repaired and opened for worship. Since its minaret was severely damaged in the same earthquake, it was demolished and a new one was built in its place. The outbuildings of the mosque consist of a fountain, lodging, Quran course, gasil room and garden. The total usage area is 450 square meters. Its outer walls are made of stone and its dome is made of masonry wood. The capacity of the congregation is 800 people and this number reaches 1000 people on Fridays with the opportunity to pray in the garden. Although the plane tree in the garden of the mosque is not known exactly, it is said that it was planted by Nalbant Ali Ağa in the 1870s. Due to the existence of this historical tree, the mosque and this district are called CINARLI.
