I don’t usually leave a bad review but in this case we were quite disappointed with our experience. The main issue was the lack of WiFi and slow response to fixing it. It took several days and reminder messages. In the meantime we kept receiving calls from the host via WhatsApp, which we missed as we didn’t have WiFi. This was a shame as we needed WiFi for work, entertainment and to plan things for our trip. We had to buy roaming packages, which got expensive quite quickly. When we asked to be compensated we received no response. When it finally started working on the afternoon of our final day it was too weak to use with our phones. If you require reliable WiFi, I would not book this location. From our experience, communication with the host was not great, especially because the the WiFi wasn’t working. We didn’t receive any information about check out for example, even after sending a message asking about it. Otherwise there were a few issues with the place overall. The furnishings were shabby and/or broken, as were the filters around the side of the pool, making it less safe for kids. The photos on Airbnb were not of the apartment that we booked. The furnishings were not the same as advertised (what was advertised was two double beds and two double sofa beds while we had two singles and one double bed, with one double sofa bed). The kitchen was not fully equipped. There was cutlery, plates, cups, pans etc but it lacked basic items like cooking knives, oil, salt and pepper, and large spoons. Several other things advertised in the listing were not provided like a clothes dryer and hand soap. Overall we had an amazing time in Kas but would certainly not book this apartment if we visit again.
