Payas'ta very close to the beach in a position of a second military quality. This building, formerly known as "Iskele Castle", is a two-storey outpost tower with a 360-degree field of view. It is understood that it constitutes the last link of the effort made to create an Ottoman city. After the bastions built in the harbor (fortification made separately and reinforced with weapons), it was built on a dominant point to resist the attack of enemy ships and increase the defense obligation of Payas Castle. In 975 A.H./1577 A.D., with an instruction he sent to Babiali, Üzeyr Bey and Kadi, he ordered a text tower in the style of the Maiden's Tower, which is located opposite the Istanbul Saray Burnu, in a suitable place of the harbor and to put four cannons and enough fortresses in it. After this provision was sent, the construction of the castle started. Evliya Çelebi, who saw Payas in the 17th century, expresses his observations as follows; “The pier tower is a round and solid tower and the castle guards watch day and night on it. Because the customs are here. “ Cin Tower was repaired and brought to tourism. There is a nice cafeteria inside. You sit there and talk about who came and went.

It is used as a public toilet... It is not allowed to enter because of the smell.. I wish I did not go inside.. The historical buildings are very well preserved ??

It is a beautiful castle, but we could not enter it, I could look at the edge while passing, only there are places to drink tea below

It is very valuable as a historical artifact and structure. But it has been very bad because of neglect and indifference. First of all, the local government and the monuments board should take care of it.
