★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This man is so nice! My wife tried to give him a tip since he showed her how to throw to types of clay together to make a spiral pattern. Not only did he not take it, but he gave her a small pot free of charge. Just because he found out she is also a potter. This man has a big heart. We wish him the best in his business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Chez Bircan out of curiosity to see a small ceramics shop that uses more traditional techniques. We had a private lesson on Pottery, saw a wheel that is being used for generations in the family and our daughter was taught how to make a vase (different than the big shops where they make a demo and then ask for a volunteer that screws up, to show how difficult it is) that she signed and took home with her. We found some unique pieces and against our vows to not buy any additional fragile items we bought a few. Prices were quite reasonable. We had a great experience overall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind hearted man with a great variety of treasures. He gave me his son's email so I could send some photos but have since lost the card. If anyone could get the email address I would appreciate it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and stupendous place. The owner is very passionate about what he does and explains everything so well. Amazing pottery collection - including terracotta and mosaic finished ones.
Unique and intricate details in each one. Very amazed to see that few glow in the light. If you are willing to make your hands dirty, you can as well get an experience in making one. Must go place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were delighted to purchase several items here. The first reason is because of the two Hassan's... They were friendly and personable and there was no pressure. Prices were reasonable. They took time to chat and explain and demonstrate. We had coffee and a very nice visit. We left with unique items that we had not seen in other potters' shops. Different methods as well as different clays. We highly recommend this shop. Thank you for a lovely experience. We wish you every success. Thank you for taking pride in your work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 20 years ago, I visited this place on my graduation trip from college.
They sell various designs of pottery, mainly plates.
You can also watch the actual process of making them from clay.
When we visited, we were able to see the process of making something like a pot. It was almost the same as the way they are made in Japan, and I learned that there are many aspects of the process that are common even across national borders.
There are so many different designs of pottery that you can enjoy yourself just by looking at them.
