IV. from the XIII century. It is a rock settlement that hosted an intense monastic life until the 19th century. While the geometric decorations used in the early Christian periods in the churches can be seen in the first paint layers, the frescoes made in later dates are the Bible and the Prophet. It depicts scenes from the life of Jesus.

Göreme resembles a vast monastic complex composed of dozens of monasteries located next to each other, each with its own church, one of the most famous dedicated to St. Basil, the great. The museum contains beautiful churches carved into the rock, with impressive murals which represent the Byzantine art of the post-iconoclastic period. (Old Christian religious movement that rejected the cult of sacred images and destroyed them). Despite having been created more than a thousand years ago, the color of the murals has retained its original freshness. Most of the churches in the museum belong to the 10th, 11th and 12th centuries. The Göreme Museum has been a member of the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1984. It is well worth the visit. Inside the premises you have to pay again to see one of the churches whose frescoes have been rehabilitated.

Christians practice church. Strange landscape. The totem portraits in the cave are always light weathered and mottled and fall off seriously. If you are interested, you can rely on your own eyes, and then trace the imagination. The appearance is presumed to be caused by human destruction.
