Liked vegetarian platter a lot named Tabak. Restaurant is located at city center near Ulu Camii (Grand Mosque). Is quiet spacious. My friends had non vegetarian food lamb with rice, cold food Dolma etc. They too liked it very much. Overall a wonderful experience.

Assyrian culture and cuisine holds a significant place in Mardin. Inside the Assyrian kitchen, the preparation, cooking and presentation of all meat and vegetables is filled with patience and earnestness. If you are looking for places to enjoy a nice meal with devine food, quality service and a pleasant view, Cercis Murat Konagi is the place to be. The restaurant is operating at a fine-dining standard but the $$ is super reasonable and affordable. As much as I would love to try their famous Kaburga Dolması, the down side of being a solo traveler is that sometimes the proportion of the food is just too big for 1 person?. However, their signature Dobo, the lamb leg meat marinated with garlic and allspice is a great choice to pick! Don’t forget to try their Yöresel Salata, the pomegranate salad to brighten your palate before your main course. I love that at the end of your meal, the waiter came over and pour water to a big bronze bowl and help you wash your hands!

The place is pretty with intricate decor. The decoration pieces are beautiful and were chosen well. The food reflects tha Mardin cuisine with a stylish presentation. The taste of the food is ok but I think is overrated.all of this is what would you expect when reviewing a restuarant. But what is a bit of a shock is the attitude of the staff. Most of them in general. I tried not to be biased and just review the place, but it was overwhelming.

Even though this place is expensive, when you eat the food you can understand that it is worth to spend your money for the food. Go here when you come to mardin (if you are a foreigner) or if you live in mardin and never came here,vyou have to. It also has live performances at nights. Even though we had missed it, we think it would have been better if there was live music. Definitely recommend it.

Fixed menu is for 400 Turkish Liras. Great place to enjoy world class food prepared with local ingredients from and around Mardin. Fantastic ambiance in the building with friendly staff.

Perhaps the best restaurant I’ve experienced in Turkey. We had lunch one day and dinner the next - simply because the lunch was so excellent. Dinner exceeded expectations. Very highly recommended.

I don't understand the mentality of forcing people to eat fixed menu especially in the middle of the day, is it greed? is it arrogance? you tell. I can understand that there is a set menu in the evenings. But I can't during the day. Also, set menus are expensive. Yes, the food is better than my experiences in Mardin. To be a good person, you must be fair about sharing your good knowledge with people by affordable pricing and options. My first visit was in the evening and I had dinner as a set menu. I went there another day for lunch in the afternoon and there is no "à la carte" so of course I left.

I was really nervous to give them a try after reading the negative reviews but after dining here, I don't understand how anyone could rate them below 5. The interior is amazing. They have thought about every single detail here. The service is exceptional. Every single food item we received was exceptional and nothing like I have ever had before. I also wanted to touch on the projects the owner of this restaurant runs. The staff has told us about how they place extra importance in hiring women in their restaurants to provide them with a source of income in a place like Mardin that is heavily a patriarchal society. This only made me fall in love with the place even more.
