The first library I went to in Ankara. Generally good, but there are some shortcomings due to the old library. For example, there is no plug system. The part for studying on the upper floor is very small and has been reduced to half due to the pandemic. There is a wifi problem. But it still keeps me concentrating on studying. I try to go on certain days of the week ..

It is a friendly neighborhood-style library, but there are many shortcomings, such as it closes at 17.00 or there is not enough space to work.

A place where there are social distancing rules but those who come to work usually don't wear masks. Loud employee talking can distract you, so I don't recommend it.

The most important problems are the internet and the lack of sockets on the tables. If these issues are resolved, great. Internet access is available on the computers belonging to the library on the top floor. But you cannot connect from your own phone or computer. Hours: 8.30-17.00. Masks are worn in the library. There is a warning that you do not remove your mask. One table each is seated with space, so there is very little room for people. There is a librarian's desk in the study area and the phone rings. Sometimes there is no one, that phone rings until it stops. Although there is no telephone, the librarians are talking loudly among themselves. Even if you warn the librarians, they will not take it into account. Therefore, if you are not distracted, you can study. And the study area is a large place compared to the number of tables, so it can be very cold some days. Dress accordingly. Library books are in the same place as the study area, so there may be noise when buying books. If you become a member of the library, you can borrow a book for 15 days. There is no plug by the way. If they have to talk among themselves, they talk quietly, in general, I can't always say.
