Bir Cuma günü Yahyalı Kapuzbaşı şelalesine giderken Cuma vaktinin yaklaşması üzerine şelale yolunun hemen kenarındaki bir köy olan Çavdaruşağı köyüne uğradık. 400 metre civarı yokuş çıktıktan sonra köy içine ve camiye ulaştık. Köye girdiğimiz anda yabancı olduğumuzu anlayan köylüler pandemi dönemi olmasına rağmen çok ilgili ve misafirperver davrandı. Namazı beklerken konuştuğumuz yaşlılar yemek davetinde bulunurken bayanlar da eşimin çevresine toplanmış. Bir köylü hanım daha bizi görür görmez bahçesinden birkaç kilo üzüm toplayarak eşime getirmiş. Daha sonra da bahçesinden biber, domates ne bulduysa toplayıp getirmiş. Çay, kahve ve ayran ikram edenleri ise sayamadık. Kısa bir süre maske takarak bulunduğumuz ve Cuma namazını eda ettiğimiz köyde 'vaktimiz yok, yola devam etmeliyiz' diyerek bütün ikram tekliflerini nazikçe geri çevirmek durumunda kaldık; çünkü hiçbir köylüyü riske atmak istedik, pandemi günleri idi ve muhtemelen biz bu köylülere göre çok yer dolaşmıştık. Sadece bahçeden toplananları kabul edebildik ve onlar da birkaç öğünde sofranızdan eksik olmadı. Allah hepsinden razı olsun, çok misafirperver bir köydü.
Bu arada öğretmenlerinin tayini yeni çıkmış. Köylü bayanlar, sebze, meyve ve süt ürünleri için asla öğretmenlerimize harcama yaptırmayız biz bahçemizden tedarik ederiz, diyor. Köylüler hayvancılık ile uğraşıyor. Öğretmeni köyün 2. muhtarı olarak görüyorlar.
Eski Anadolu insanlarının halen bulunduğunu görmek beni çok mutlu etti. Allah bozmaz inşallah.

On the way to Yahyalı Kapuzbaşı waterfall on a Friday, we stopped by Çavdaruşağı village, a village right next to the waterfall road, when it was approaching Friday. After climbing about 400 meters, we reached the village and the mosque. The villagers, who realized that we were foreigners as soon as we entered the village, behaved very interested and hospitable, despite the pandemic period. While waiting for the prayer, the old people we spoke to were inviting the dinner, and the ladies gathered around my wife. A peasant lady picked a few kilos of grapes from her garden as soon as she saw us and brought them to my husband. Later, he collected peppers and tomatoes from his garden and brought them whatever he found. We could not count those who offered tea, coffee and ayran. In the village where we were wearing a mask for a short time and performed the Friday prayer, we had to gently turn down all the catering offers, saying 'we do not have time, we should continue our journey'; Because we wanted to risk any peasants, it was pandemic days, and we probably traveled a lot for these peasants. We were only able to accept garden pickings, and they were available for a few meals. God bless them all, it was a very hospitable village.
By the way, the appointment of his teachers has just come out. We never spend on our teachers for vegetables, fruits and dairy products, we supply from our garden, village ladies say. Villagers are dealing with animal husbandry. They see the teacher as the second headman of the village.
It made me very happy to see that the ancient Anatolian people still exist. God will not spoil it.
