Cevahir Ali Efendi Camii, 18. yüzyıl Osmanlı ahşap yapı sanatının Anadolu’daki güzel örneklerinden birisidir. Kitabesine göre camii Hicri 1202 (Miladi 1788) yılında, Çapanoğlu Süleyman Bey’in vekilharcı Hacı Ahmet Ağa adına Cevahir (Cevheri) Ali Efendi tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Camii ve mektebi külliye şeklinde yapılmış fakat mektep günümüze gelememiştir.
Cevahir Ali Efendi Mosque is one of the beautiful examples of 18th century Ottoman wooden art in Anatolia. According to the inscription, the mosque was built in 1202 (Gregorian 1788) by Cevahir (Cevheri) Ali Efendi in the name of Hacı Ahmet Ağa, the deputy of Çapanoğlu Süleyman Bey. Mosque and school complex is made as to, but could not come to school today.

Jahrhunderts in Anatolien.
The Cavahiri Ali Efendi Cami is one of the finest examples of Ottoman wooden architecture of the 18th century in Anatolia. There is an inscription on the entrance door to Harim. According to the inscription, the mosque of Cevahir (Cevheri) Ali Efendi was built in the name of Hacı Ahmet Ağa, the administrator of Çapanoğlu Süleyman Bey, in 1788 (H.1202). The mosque and school were built in the form of a social complex, but the school did not survive and was destroyed. The building is surrounded by a courtyard wall made of cut yellow stones. The courtyard is entered through a small door with a round arch in the west and east, similar to the eastern door of the Çapanoğlu Mosque. The courtyard is accessed from the east door via a 6-step, semicircular staircase. On the south side of this staircase, which connects to the north-east of the building, there is a minaret made of white stone with a large pear heel, polygonal body and sitting on a square base. From the courtyard you enter the Harim through a round arched door made of black, white and red marble from the narthex, the front of which was later closed with a cemakan. We visited them on August 14th, 2021 and mentioned them in the "Travel Report Tokat Yozgat Part 75" and described them as recommendable.
