1575 metrelik Çatalan Köprüsü zamanında Türkiye'nin “en uzun köprüsü” ünvanın sahip olmuştur. Zamanla yeni yapılan köprüler olduğu için günümüzde birinciliği kaybetmiştir.
Asıl amacı su borularının geçişini sağlamak olan köprü, üç şeritli yoluyla karayolu ulaşımında da kullanılabilecek şekilde Seyhan Baraj Gölü üzerine inşa edilmiş.
İnşaat başlangıcı : 1998
Açılış : 17 Haziran 2002
Çatalan köprüsünün 3 adet yapılış amacı bulunuyor:
-İçme suyunu şehre ulaştırmak
-Araçlar ulaşımı
-Rekreasyon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manzarası harika seyhan barajının üzerine yapılmış balık tutabileceginiz harika bir yer deniz görmesekte baraja bakarak deniz keyfini cikarabileceginiz bir yer ama köprünün bazi yerlerine serin bir yerde durmak için yer yapsalar daha güzel olur diye düşünüyorum
