Tarihi içinde barındırıyor. Yapılışı ve çevresindeki yapılarda yillar öncesine gidiyorsun. Tek sorun terkedilmiş. Motifler ve yazılar varmış. %90 ı dokülmüş. Eskinin izleri yavaş yavaş siliniyor.
It contains history. You go back years in the construction and the surrounding buildings. The only problem is abandoned. There were motifs and inscriptions. 90% woven. The traces of the old are slowly disappearing.

10 km from Aksaray district Live church entrance is free Distant roads are also a factor. If you come from the center of Aksaray, the road is very bad, they have just done it, it is better if you come by derinkuyu. There are also cave houses around. It has a magnificent view. It is open seven days a week, around the clock. Intact churches need one and some restoration.

It is a very valuable structure, but treasure hunters destroyed it. It has an impressive view overlooking Mount Hasan.

The way of arrival is a bit troublesome, but it seems that the problem will be solved with the new way. Unfortunately it has been neglected. If a good care is taken, if the ruins are removed, a magnificent work emerges with the emergence of interrelated places under the ground. A church worth visiting.

Even though the church is in ruins, its view is beautiful, especially walking around the carved rocks around it gives a different pleasure.

This review is both in english and turkish Turkce degerlendirmem asagidadir. English: A sad tragic story of one of the most important churches in the anatolia. The spreading place of christianism destroyed by gravediggers, lack of preservation. I dont advice you to go here. It is about 10 km in to nowhere and a very scary place. This is not a museum just a ruin of a very beautiful city and a church. The ground is filled with holes and it is inviting to a new accident. If you are brave and want to experience somewhere misterious then you should check it out but be very careful there. Turkce: Yazık. Ulkemizde korunmamis yagmalanmis harika bir tarihi eser. Cok sapa bir yerde hersey dokulmus guya muze mudurlugunun korumasi altinda ama hic sanmiyorum zaten yagmalanmis ve harabe haline donmus macera aramak istiyorsaniz gidebilirsiniz ama hic guvenli degil haberiniz olsun. Biraz korku filmi gibi :)

High in the cave filled hills of Aksaray with a magnificent view of Mount Hasan is Çanlı Church, a ruinous eleventh century Byzantine church that became especially famous after grave robbers were caught uncovering mummified children and cats. It’s high, lonely spot makes it a beautiful place to visit and explore. The church was in much better condition until sometime before 1954 when the main domed roof collapsed. Exposed to the weather nearly all of the frescoes have been lost though a half buried section remains. Unfortunately little is known about the history of this particular church. Make sure to explore the caves and tunnels in the immediate surroundings.

Fresco Castle ??‍?? This castle is a little ways outside of Cappadocia and it was something I wanted to see on the last trip I made to this area if Turkey but since it was out in the middle of nowhere it was the one that got away... Until today! Really beautiful masonary work covered in frescoes that are somehow still colorful and vibrant even though they're exposed to mother nature 24/7 ??? Underneath this castle is a basement full of columns cut out of sheer rock which are more than a little impressive. I love all the cubby holes for sacrifices and the modern day iron crosses carved into the dungeon entrance ? Epic ride on the motorcycle getting over here to this area up into the mountains and on the back roads ??????
