Sergilenen eser bakımından zengin olmasa da mutevazi eserlerini en iyi biçimde sergilemekten geri kalmıyor. Konularına göre kategorize edilen eserler, oldukça iyi düşünülmüş ve kurgulanmış bir sunumla kronolojik olarak sergilenmekte. Işıklandırmanın iyi ayarlanmış düzeyi eserlerin keyifle izlenmesini sağlarken başka bir yere dikkatin yönelmesine engel oluyor. Salonların numaralandırılmış olması müzeyi sistemli bir sekilde gezmeyi sağlıyor. Hitit İmparatorluğuna ait önemli buluntulardan birisi olan İnandık Vazosu da Çankırı'dan çıkarılmıştır. Genellikle ayrıntılarda sadece coğrafi özellikleri, dönemin giyim tarzı, Çankırıda eski dönemlerde ki kazılarda bulunan kemiklerle buluntu esyalarda desteklenmesi hakeza tarihi bir şehir olduğunu gösteriyor.
