Активный торговец (хозяин?) назвал цены (причем в долларах, я просил перевести): люля - 70 лир, шаурма – 35, картошка фри – 25. Вот только у нас в отеле было меню этой забегаловки (на месте его, конечно же, не дают). И там всё ровно вдвое дешевле: люля – 35, шаурма – 15-20, фри – 12. Меню прикладываю, пользуйтесь. У меня же такой подход отбил все желание делать заказ в этом месте. Тем более за предыдущие дни успел убедиться, что есть в Текирове приличные кафе, которые не пытаются тебя обмануть. Например, совсем рядом могу рекомендовать Park Firin Cafe & Bakery.

It feels like I got ripped off here, and let me explain why. First of all, there are no prices, just pictures of food on the wall, but since I ordered the same at the restaurant to the right of this one (not Dallas, Mekan 07) I expected prices to be low and reasonable. The shock came when we got the bill, we were charged $20 for two doner durums and two beers.. shocked because we were billed in dollars and because prices are cheaper in Holland. When asked to pay in Turkish lira, he did an exact conversion with a calculator, which made the bill about 165 TL. If you order the same at the restaurant next door I mentioned (Mekan 07), you will pay much less. We paid 36 TL for two doner durums and two sodas there. I imagine beer being a bit more expensive, but not that expensive.

SUMMARY: ask what currency the menu is in before you order anything Deceptive practices. They will give you a menu in USD with high prices (e.g., $10-15USD for a kebab) without letting you know. If this happens to you, please ask for the menu in Lira which will have much lower prices (e.g., 50 lira for the same product).

We were here on December 8th. The menu didn't have prices, and we did not ask (we don’t think that when you come to have a bite, you should expect a deception and find out the prices in advance). We ordered one coffee (it turned out to be instant!), two glasses of tea and one hot dish (pilav with meat). The bill was 190 lire! This was the most expensive outdoor cafe on our three week trip around Turkey. It usually costs three times less. At the same time, the dish was delicious.

AVOID at all costs. They scam travellers with a separate menu (US$10 for durum and US$2 for Ayran). However, even the real menu is overpriced compared to local restaurants. The food is also low quality; many people in our group got sick that evening and the next day.
