I have been coming to calis for 12 years i always use calis taxi always found them to be reliable & polite, but not this year found them to be very rude & unreliable also wanting more money than is on metre because of exchange rate.

We are residence hear in Calis and have been for 6 years, the service is awful from the taxi rank in Calis. The charge is far more than the meter says, that’s if the meter is on, which all of the time it is not. Very rude drivers, one in particular who’s plate number is 48 T 3267, we Gave him 15tl for a 12:85 journey he was insisting on 20tl. We gave him 15tl he told us to Fxxx Off ? ?? awful service.

I use Calis Taksi regularly and always use the same driver (Fahri) who I contact on Whatsapp. His sets the meter and is always on time. Very professional and polite. Helped me with shopping and my dog and finding a good optician. My cousin is here in Calis on holiday and I arranged a transfer from the airport through him and she is now using his taxi regularly during her stay. Nothing to fault here. Not sure about the other reviews but I have no issues at all with my driver.

Hi over the last few nights I’ve noticed a trend of poor professionalism amongst taxi drivers I valued highly over the years . Now that we’re entering unprecedented times I feel strongly enough that I have to put this post up .not one taxi driver over the last three nights has put his meter on .or managed to understand where I’m going even if I’m directing him the price that they say at the end of the hire could build you a villa .....if I was a lone female I would have felt frightened at the lack of customer care .as a family we have been travelling to this area for the past 15 years and never felt this with the local taxis .if this is the future of taxis in this area .people will stop using them .simply they want to go from A to B without feeling they are being robbed .........

Still learning my ways. But being ripped off by taxi drivers is insane here. Not professional at all. Some turn on meters but not all. Be aware. They don't understand English much but they pretend they do. I learned not to trust them when they say they know the location. They are lazy to use Google maps or they don't know how. And keep asking for directions from you???? Past month l used taxi 3x and got lost, arrived late and overcharged for driving in wrong places.
