★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 35’lik Tekirdağ rakı, bir beyin salatası, bir enginar, bir patlıcanlı atom, bir porsiyon ciğer tava, meyve tabağı 360 TL ödedik. Mezeler öyle sıradan birahane mezeleri gibi ruhsuz değil 50 yıldır özenle yapılanlardan. Bu tür nesli tükenen mekanları yaşatmak lazım.
 We paid 360 TL for one piece of Tekirdağ raki, one brain salad, one artichoke, one eggplant atom, one portion of liver pan, fruit plate. The appetizers are not soulless like ordinary pub appetizers, they are made with care for 50 years. It is necessary to keep these endangered places alive.

I really like. Especially the liver in butter with mashed shrimp was very good. Fish wasn't bad either. If I go again, I think I'll just have a hot snack. Thank you very much to the staff

The appetizers and meals are very tasty. Be sure to try the tripe casserole. A large and spacious place. There is ample space between the tables. Service is slow as it gets crowded on Friday and Saturday.

Mekan sahibi Kemal beyler Rizeli, harika balık yapıyorlar. Benim önerim balık çorbası ve hamsikuş.
The oldest tavern of Ankara.
The garden is beautiful in the summer
The owner of the place, Kemal gentlemen, is from Rize, they make great fish. My recommendation is fish soup and anchovy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Çalıkuşu Lokantası yaklaşık 60 yıldır hizmet veren bir mahalle meyhanesi aslında. Ancak ünü o kadar yayılmış ki, sadece Yenimahalle sakinleri değil Ankara genelinde müşteri kitlesi bulunmakta.
Salaş diyebileceğimiz, mezeleri yeterli bir işletme. Sadece biraz tadilat ile yenilenmesi gerek diye düşünüyorum.
Yeni nesil meyhane tarzı değil ama biraz yenilik şart.
Çalıkuşu Restaurant is actually a neighborhood tavern that has been serving for about 60 years. However, its reputation has spread so much that it has a customer base not only in Yenimahalle but also throughout Ankara.
It is a business that we can call shabby, with sufficient appetizers. I think it just needs some refurbishment.
It's not the new generation tavern style, but some innovation is a must.
