Calido Maris Hotel

Beach is not finished yet (i think), staff is very tired and not happy to serve always, foods are fine and enough, hotel is ok, building still nice and pools, water is probleme with higher levels sometimes and not clear always. Its not 5 stars hotel, maybe 4 in türkish, but not bad! The drinks are low levels , exept beer.

This places is OK if you are into an entertainment-based and noisy vacation. The building and the rooms are nice. However, if you want to swim in the sea, you'll have to walk a few hundred meters. The food is tolerable for the most part, but dispensing instant coffee from the coffee machine with a whole bunch of buttons for different coffees was disappointing. Whether you want espresso or cappuccino, you get the same instant coffee with a well-known brand. A wine dispenser at the dining hall has two spigots, one for red wine, one for white wine. It was quite horrendous, however, to get apple vinegar thinned with water passed as white wine. This may not be a big deal for some but it is actually quite a disrespect for the customer with certain expectations. Likewise, what they serve as juice is some sweet and flavored drink, which doesn't go well in a place like this. It is also a shame to charge 1.5 euro for a freshly made glass of orange juice in an area where citrus fruit is grown and exported to other countries. All in all, this place is acceptable for the most part, but they have to make a few improvements.

Was full of German and Russians. We were the only British family in the hotel. The reception staff hardly understood english and were very rude. The bar staff preferred to serve the germans and Russians. The hotel was in the middle of nowhere and was 8 km to nearest town. We only took english money and the reception wouldn't change to lira so we were ripped off in the hotel shop as had to pay with pounds. We lived on chips all week as the food was terrible.

This is the worst hotel we've ever been to in Turkey. This is not a five star hotel, neither in service nor in dining nor in location. It's super dirty and the staff is bad and doesn't speak English. The internet is very bad and with our arrival we were asked for € 20 to give us a room we had already paid for. The only cool people were the animators. Don't go to the feet of a hotel

We spent 5 nights and 5 days in Calido Maris as a couple in May. Temperatures were a lovely 32C in the day calming down to around 22C at night. We had a see view room, which was spacious with a massive and comfortable bed, tucked away on the side of the building. So we had undisturbed views of the see, could see the pools as well, but nicely secluded and hidden from the other balconies. Pay the little extra for the seaview room, as those are the rooms on the two side columns of the building. There were plenty of Russian tourists, as expected, but we enjoyed ourselves so much, we payed no attention to them. This was possible due to the amazing hospitality of the hotel staff. They were well beyond our expectations. We would love to return and we recommend this place.

Everything is perfect here, the staffs are very friendly. Anything you need, anywhere you want to go they help you in a very good way. Always clean, the pool is really nice, very big buffet, you need 10 minutes to chose what you want to eat. If you have a birthday inform the reception and they will arrange a very beautiful table with full of flowers for you. They did it for my 1 years old son and I loved it. You have always something to eat, buffet near pool, Beach and drinks are always available everywhere.

First of all, one of the two rooms in the “family room” is a hall which leads to the second room. Next, the wi-fi is paid €2 per device per day and is very slow, and barely works at all in the rooms. The food is given out by kitchen staff, which creates massive waiting lines. There are waiting lines for drinks as well. Even the food that is served is not up to par for a 5* hotel. Then, there is a terrible odor at the restaurant floor. This is by far the worst five star hotel I have ever been to.

It is a 4 star hotel at best. Positive: - nice guest rooms - beautiful swimming pool - nice aqua park for children and young adults - nice food overall Negative - water is too cold in pools despite high temperatures outside - technician needed to change the fridge, fix the doors of cupboard and fix the towel hanger - hotel is a maze, difficult to get to lobby in the first 1-2 days of your stay - you are greeted in russian (as statistically chances are you are one). Everything is Russian oriented...i start to wonder if the owner is russian. A technician whom was called to intervene didnt even speak Turkish, forget other European languages. Ironically, he was surprised i didnt speak Russian. For a moment, i thought i was in Siberia :) - hallways lack lightnings.
