Close to SELÇUK train station and IZBAN station, it is an area where ancient aqueducts, coffee houses and cafes coexist. Right in the center of the city. While drinking your tea and coffee in the ancient aqueducts and cafes in the square, you can experience a nostalgia in the historical area. 1. This is the first thing I spotted after taking hours of trains from Izmir to Selcuk.
2. While admiring the restoration work done by the authorities, the Byzantine Aqueduct is although beautiful, nothing special about it at all.
3. There are many restaurants around it so I recommend you to dine in some of them. Such as the Ejder restaurant, it is pretty nice :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is interesting to see while walking around the town, especially with the colour and movement of the square and all its cafe/restaurants.
Looking at the aquaduct itself one does wonder about the restoration work. The columns would appear to be a mismatch of collected stone as against the 'original'. Having said that, it does provide an interesting view of the past.
