Büyük Osmaniye Oteli

Now this is a first class Hotel, european style, staff extremely courteous and friendly, food in the restaurant excellent. If you can afforded this is the place to stay. I was there for 3 months.

I arrived in the evening after getting caught in persistent rain on a days bicycling trip. I was welcomed by an English speaking clerk and assisted with the baggage off my bike. I usually don't stay in five star hotels, but there weren't any options other than another hour of biking in a cold rain. I was pleasantly surprised at the $50 rate for a single room. It was a large comfortable room and bath with a mini bar/refrigerator, good cable TV, and Wi-Fi. In the morning I found the extensive breakfast buffet excellent. As the weather forecast was still adverse I stayed for another day. The clerk told me how to take the minibus into town to get to a bankomat and see Osmaniye. There weren't many sites in Osmaniye except the small municipal history museum, with folk exhibits. It was free. In the evening I returned to the hotel for dinner at their top floor restaurant. They had a meal special for $13 with a choice of entrees. It was a typical meal for the area, but was the best prepared with the freshest salad ingredients I had in my two weeks in Turkey. If you are driving it could serve as a base to visit Antioch, Adana, Incirlik, and Gaziantep on day trips I highly recommend it.

It had all that you expect from a high-end hotel; - friendly staff, excellent food, comfortable spacious room and lovely pool. The only demerit was for the scratchy old towels and the stained, worn carpet in the room. Breakfast excellent but was way over the top with a selection of enormous amounts of food, including 10 different white cheeses!

It was one of my worst hotel experiences all times that I had reserved 27sm standard room for my colleague with king/queen size bad which is quite unique in the world but once hotel saw his wife, they wanted to charge extra 100 lira which is absolutely unacceptable. Std room price should have been fixed and should not be changed if 1 or 2 person staying in the room. Consequently, I canceled booking and reserved another hotel near university vicinity with 200lira and it was 47sm. I strongly recommend to check alternatives before booking this hotel.

It was clean and stuff was friendly. But the bed was bo difference then concrete... The window of the room was open when i was entered into room which i didn't understand until i frozen to the death. There was no blanket only thin pique. There were a noise coming from the mirror lamp which went silent when i turn on the light (crazy)... So i could say i just slept only for 2-3 hours on the concrete bed with lights on (rather then hearing disturbing noise)...

Rooms very clean, food is good but all staff no speak english, restaurant's staff is not professional, laudry service is bad { dress are back very wet}

Very clean hotel. There's a private car park and the receptionist was a very kind man. The hotel is clean and very nice to sleep. No noises at all. The drinks and snacks inside the room are payable. That's why i won't give 5 stars. İn every other hotels that İ stayed in Turkey and all around the world the room snacks and drinks are free.
