Büyük Kale Otel

We were there in March at -12 degrees. Hygiene and cleanliness is good. The breakfast is very nice. Dinner is bad. There are minor shortcomings in the business. But it is tolerable.

The hotel is within walking distance of Kars castle and nearby attractions. Although it is very cold outside, it is warm inside. Staff involved. Soner is solution oriented. Standard rooms are spacious. The entrance and bedroom in the suite rooms are spacious enough. The breakfast room located on the ground floor is well furnished. The breakfast is sufficient. Tea is brewed in the teapot, so you can drink fresh tea. Prices are reasonable. We are satisfied.

If cleanliness is important to you, don't go. Dirty dirty dirty! Everything sloppy.. Sorry, but there was vomit on the floor next to the bed. Then we changed the room, in the second room there was phlegm behind the bathroom door and hairs on the sink. They have serious problems with cleaning. Then we visited maybe 10 rooms, all of them were dirty. Cleaning was done haphazardly in all of them. The hotel has been renovated but everything is sloppy. The drain of the shower is in the air, the water accumulates on the other side and the accumulated water leaks from the shower cabin into the bathroom. We woke up one morning the bathroom was soaking wet. A hotel that does not deserve a tenth of what we paid. I was not satisfied and very depressed by what I saw!
