This hot air balloon flight was everything dreams are made of and then some! It was purely MAGICAL!!!! Our pilot Fatih (pronounced like Fah-teeth) was definitely a pro, with over 10 years of flight experience, and took excellent care of us. Even my husband and 11 year old daughter enjoyed it! I was honestly expecting to be terrified because I don't normally handle heights very well. But it was smooth from start to finish. The way the balloon gently glides up and down, right next to the fairy chimneys, and lands on the trailer is simply incredible! I'll add that getting up for a 4:00am pick-up is completely worth it. But you won't see many ladies wearing makeup (cough, like me) at that time of morning. ? The last thing to note about Butterfly Balloons is they are rated highly and recommended by Rick Steves. Several of their pilots actually trained in Albuquerque, New Mexico - which is the most popular ballooning destination in the world.

My husband and I booked the Beyond Flight which is a 90 minute flight with a maximum of 8 people. There are only 2 people in each corner of the basket which made it very easy to enjoy the views of Goreme National Park and of the other balloons. Our pilot was Ali Riza Durmaz, and he was very professional and expertly navigated us over the valleys. It was an amazing highlight of our stay in Goreme to do the hot air balloon flight with Butterfly Balloons.

One of the best experiences of our life! Unique! High safety standards! We witnessed the ignition & the starting procedure of the balloons!! Our pilot was the best, Mustafa, he took us to the highest permitted point (1.6 km), he rotated the balloon basket in order we all take perfect pictures, & he made an excellent landing, exactly on the car!! After the landing, we enjoyed our sampagne, and we shared the experience of emptying the air from the balloon, and help the workers to make the packing!! Specialist worker named Osman, took us pictures and let us live the experience of packing the balloon!! Generally, this was one unique, memorable & romantic experience, & we are glad that we lived this experience with Butterfly Baloons!! We would definitely recommend your company to anybody who would like to live the balloon experie ce!! Thank you very much!!

Good, light breakfast is provided. We were in the air for over an hour - the pilot Mehmet was good humoured and excellent at navigating. Thank you.

Best service one can ask for. Great staff and captain/driver/guide of the balloon in Bozlak and over all an excellent experience from start to finish. Small breakfast is served at the gathering spot and a small treat at the end as well. Well recommended.

Amazing experience! Max of 8 persons, and plenty of time flying over Cappadocia (around 1,5hrs). Pick up and drop off hotel, and breakfast before the flight were included. Also, we got champagne at the end of the flight ??

The pilot was very friendly while flying very safely and allowed us to see different terrain from different altitudes. The view from the sky was the best experience of my life, and pilot’s skills were so good that I felt like I was standing still in the sky. The breakfast before departure was simple, but a wide variety of dishes were provided, and all the staff were friendly. Me and my wife reminded that the flight provided by the Butterfly Balloon was the best experience we had ever in Turkey!
