Ali (R.A)'ın, halifeliği zamanında, Kufe'de zırhı kayboldu. Bir müddet sonra bir Hrıstiyan'ın yanında ortaya çıktı. Ali onu hakimin huzuruna götürdü.
'Bu zırh benim malımdır; onu ne sattım, ne de birine bağışladım; şimdi onu, bu adamın yanında buldum.' diye iddia etti.
Hakim:
'Halife iddiasını söyledi, sen ne dersin?' diye Hıristiyan'a sordu. O, bu zırhın, kendi malı olduğunu, aynı zamanda halifenin sözünü yalanlamadığını, söyledi.
Hakim Ali'ye dönerek
'Sen iddia ettin, bu şahıs ise inkar ediyor. Bu durumda iddian için şahit getirmen lazım' dedi.
Ali güldü ve
'Hakim doğru söylüyor, şimdi şahit getirmem gerek, fakat hiç bir şahidim yok' dedi.
Hakim, iddia edenin şahidinin olmamasına dayanarak, hrıstiyan'ın lehine karar verdi. O da zırhı aldı ve gitti.

ARMOR OF CHRISTIAN AND ALI (a.s)
(JUSTICE)
Ali (R.A) 's armor was lost in Kufa during his caliphate. After a while he appeared next to a Christian. Ali took him before the judge.
'This armor is my property; I neither sold it nor donated it to anyone; now I found him with this man. ' he claimed.
Judge:
'Caliph said his claim, what do you say?' he asked the Christian. He said that this armor was his own property, and that he did not deny the caliph's promise.
Turning to Hakim Ali
'You claimed, this person is in denial. In this case, you need to bring a witness for your claim, 'he said.
Ali laughed and
He said, 'The judge is telling the truth, now I have to bring a witness, but I have no witnesses.'
The judge ruled in favor of the Christian on the basis that the claimant had no witnesses. He took the armor and left.
But the Christian, who knew better who owned the armor, walked a few steps and his conscience awoke and
He said, 'Such a government and behavior is not the arbitrariness of ordinary people, but the government of the prophets.'
He confessed that 'Armor belongs to Ali'.
After a short while, they saw him as a Muslim, fighting under Ali's flag in the Rivervan battle.
