★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sultan II. Beyazıt zamanında Sultan Hoca oğlu Ali tarafından 1479 yılında yaptırılmıştır. Kitabesi günümüze gelememiştir, ancak yanında aynı kişi tarafından yaptırılan bir okul bulunmakta olup, bu okulun kitabesinde de cami ile birlikte 1479 yılında yaptırıldığı yazılıdır.
Cami kesme ve moloz taştan kare planlı olarak yapılmıştır. İbadet mekânının üzerini tromplu, sekizgen kasnaklı bir kubbe örtmektedir. Caminin önünde yuvarlak kemerlerle birbirine bağlı, dört sütunun taşıdığı kubbeli üç bölümlü son cemaat yeri bulunmaktadır. Mihrabı ilk yapıldığı döneme aittir. Yanındaki minaresi 1939 depreminden sonra yıkılan minarenin yerine yapılmıştır.
Halk arasında caminin ismi Hızır Cami olarak geçmektedir. İnanışa göre 40 vakit sabah namazını bu camide kılan Hızır Aleyhisselamı görürmüş.
Boyacı Hasan Ağa tarafından 1640 yılında onarım gören yapı, bu tarihten sonra bu isimle anılmaya başlanmıştır.
Sultan II. It was built in 1479 by the son of Sultan Hodja, in the time of Beyazit. The inscription has not survived until today, but there is a school built by the same person, and it is written in the inscription of this school that it was built in 1479 together with the mosque.
The mosque was built with cut and rubble stones in a square plan. A dome with an octagonal rim is covered over the place of worship. In front of the mosque, there is a three-sectioned last congregation place connected by four arches, connected by round arches. The altar belongs to the period when it was first built. The minaret next to it was built to replace the minaret that was destroyed after the 1939 earthquake.
The name of the mosque is known as Hızır Mosque among the people. According to the belief, Khidr, who performed the morning prayer in this mosque for 40 times, was seen.
The building, which was repaired by Boyacı Hasan Ağa in 1640, started to be named after this date.
