Daha önceleri bu körfez dalyan ve tuzla olarak kullanılıyormuş. Hatta dizi film setlerinde (Sefirin Kızı) çok kullanılan tuz deposu halan ayakta. Döneminde güzel kuş gözlemi yapabileceğiniz, doğa fotoğrafları çekebileceğiniz bir bölge. Ancak saçma sapan yapılar bölgenin doğal yapısını bozmuş ve tam bir çöplüğe döndürmüş. Umulur ki bir an önce önlem alınır. Çünkü yakın bir zamanda ne kuş kalacak ne de cennet.
