Şehire Mayıs ayı ile Eylül aylarını kapsayan aylar Türkiye'nin en sıcak ilçesi bu yüzden yolu düşecek olan kişilerin mutlaka bu ayrıntıya dikkat etmelerini öneririm.

The bridge connecting Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa on the Euphrates river. While taking pictures on the Birecik side, I could hardly stand the smell.

30 Ekim 1973'te açılan Boğaziçi köprüsü yapılmadan önce Türkiye'nin en uzun köprüsüydü Birecik Köprüsü. Adnan Menderes tarafından yapımına 1952 yılında başlanan köprü 720m uzunluğunda ve 10m genişliğindedir. 1955 yılında açılmıştır. İstanbul köprüleri yapılmadan önce Türkiye'nin en uzun köprüsüydü. Bu açıdan Türkiye çapında bir anlam ifade eder.
Birecik köprüsü, 2017 yılında bakıma uğramıştır.

Birecik Bridge was Turkey's longest bridge before the Bosphorus Bridge was built on October 30, 1973. The bridge, whose construction was started by Adnan Menderes in 1952, is 720m long and 10m wide. It was opened in 1955. Before the Istanbul bridges were built, it was the longest bridge in Turkey. In this respect, it has a meaning throughout Turkey.
Birecik bridge was taken care of in 2017.

It is a bridge we use to go from Gaziantep to Urfa. There is a tea garden and restaurants just below. A place where you can drink your tea and watch the firati and enjoy
