İl Genel Meclisinin 17.06.1993 tarih ve 1993/ 33 nolu kararı ile 1994 yılı yatırım programına alınarak (Merkez) Bilecik 2.Organize Sanayi Bölgesi kurulmuştur. Bilecik 2.Organize Sanayi Bölgesi 412 Hektar büyüklüğünde olup, sanayi parsellerinin toplam alanı 2.415.000 m²’dir. Sanayi parsellerinin 1.789.745 m²’si sanayicilere tahsis edilmiştir. Bölgemizde 83 adet sanayi parselinden arsa tahsisi yapılan 25 parselden 21’inde üretime geçilmiş olup, 3’si kapalı 1’si de inşaat halindedir. Üretime geçen firmalarda 2014 yılı sonu itibariyle 2.450 işçi istihdam edilmektedir.
Bilecik 2. Organized Industrial Zone
Bilecik 2nd Organized Industrial Zone was established with the investment program of 1994 (Center) with the decision of the Provincial General Assembly dated 17.06.1993 and numbered 1993/33. Bilecik 2nd Organized Industrial Zone measures 412 hectares and the total area of industrial parcels is 2.415.000 m². 1,789,745 m² of the industrial parcels are allocated to industrialists. In our region, production was initiated in 21 of the 25 parcels allocated from 83 industrial parcels, and 3 of them are closed and 1 of them is under construction. As of the end of 2014, 2.450 workers are employed in the companies that started production.
