Beyaz Cafe Bodrum

Don't go there if you're not a local. The owner of the restaurant came across as racist. We met some dutch guys over there who we interacted with for a little while, while sitting at a different table. The owner was not pleased about it and kept saying stuff about 'respect, respect'. Also the waiters kept an eye on me all time and asked us if the guys bothered us and we told him no and that we were just chatting. The ambiance felt hostile. Eventually he send the guys away and I asked him polite what the problem was. He told us that in his culture the guys should have paid for us (even though they don't know us and we both weren't finished eating/drinking). I told the man that it is a cultural difference between us and that I respect his, but that the guys couldn't have known this. The owner kept being grumpy and told us that he didn't care if we didn't want to come back. Later we met the guys again on the boat back to Kos and they told us that the owner of the restaurant wanted to fight them, probably because one of the guys was black. I mean it is 2018, come on!

Food is okey. But the service is tereible. Some of the waiters dont know neşther turkish nor english. We ordered 2 döner kebab and 1 ceaser salad, they brought 2 extra salad and tried to charge us fır those. When we said we didnt order thıse sakad they keep arguing that we ate them butwe though they came with the döners. After 20 minutes they dedıcrud those salads

Can't believe that people like the owner even exist. Unfriendly and very racist!! Spend your money anywhere else. He don't deserve it. Me and my friend were talking with 2 guys. The owner and the other waiters were watching us the whole time. The owner asked us 'Do these guys disturb you' I said ' No it's Ok' but they keep on watching us and looked very angry. The guys wanted the menu to order some food. But the owner send them away. It turned out that he send them away because one of the boys was black.

Food is good, but the service is ok and also they would charge you with some extra money called Kuver for the service

The lentil soup is vegan friendly, the staff where lovely.

One of my favorite restaurants in bodrum. Friendly staff. The have great food. Very delicious.

Bulgur was cold. They didn't cook it turkish way. They just add tomato saus. I order French fries and I got 7 French fries. The dish cost 65.the kebab was not well cooked and they served it 15 minutes after than my mother's. The bread was dry. I didn't like. But I have to say that they did everything to get me a place to eat when it was full and they help me very fast.

Price is very expensive compared to some others in Bodrum. They charged us 30 lira for service which was frankly very poor. Chicken wings were undercooked and the rest were below average standard.
