The date of construction and the builder of this mosque, which is located on Hisarbaşı Hill in the Milas district of Muğla, is unknown. It is understood from its architectural structure that it was built in the XIVth century. It has been stated in some sources that it was converted from a church to a mosque by Hodja Mukbil. The mosque was repaired by Mehmet Sait Ağa in 1750. The mosque, which is made of cut stone, brick and rubble stone, is similar to the plan of the Grand Mosque. The place of worship is divided into three stages by two rows of three columns. The columns are connected to each other with slightly pointed round arches. The place of worship has a wooden ceiling and is covered with a roof. The entrance door is in the north. There is also a small entrance door to the west. Ömer Ağa, the son of Abdülfettah, built the minaret with a round body and a single balcony on a cut stone base next to the mosque in 1811.

The ceiling of the mosque located on Hisarbaşı Hill is wooden. The columns were taken from an ancient structure. The title of the two columns around the axis is in Corinthian order. The walls are made of stone and brick mixture and left without any plaster. It was repaired in 1750 by Abdulaziz Agha's son Mehmet Sait Aga. The minaret was built in 1811 by Ömer Ağa.
