Ayrıca eskiden Çarşı askeri malzeme satan bir çok dükkân ile cıvıl cıvıl dı, şimdi maalesef can çekişiyor, bunda hem asker sayısının azalması hem de karanlık olması etkili. On yıllardır Ankara’nın göbeğindeki bu mezbelelik alana bir türlü çeki düzen verilemedi. İçerideki kesif sidik kokusu, korku filmindeymişçesine görünen boş dükkanlar ve içlerinde kalan evsizler, yanıp sönen ışıklar, tavanlardan akan sular, leş gibi merdivenler ve çalışmayan yürüyen merdivenler… Ankara Büyükşehir Belediyesine yaklaşık 1 km. uzaklıkta, devletin övündüğü YHT garına çıkan bu tünel başkentin yüz karasıdır bence. For decades, this slaughtered area in the heart of Ankara could not be put in order. The thick smell of urine inside, the empty shops that look like they are in a horror movie and the homeless staying inside, the flashing lights, the water flowing from the ceilings, the stairs like filthy and the inoperative escalators… About 1 km from Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. In my opinion, this tunnel leading to the YHT station, which the state is proud of, is a disgrace to the capital.
