Baskent University Faculty of Education, which started education in 2000-2001 academic year; Preschool and Primary School Teaching Program, Department of Basic Education, Department of Foreign Language Education, Department of English Language Teaching, Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education, Department of Turkish Language and Literature Teaching, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology, Mathematics and Science Education Department has become an elite faculty with activities both in Turkey and abroad with the Mathematics Teaching and Elementary Mathematics Teaching Program, and the Educational Sciences Department with Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program and has become an important part of the Turkish education system. The purpose of Baskent University Faculty of Education; The aim of this course is to educate high quality teachers who have scientific attitude and skills, who are responsible for their education processes, who are responsible for their environment and society, who have artistic, literary and cultural background, adhere to Atatürk's principles, adopt democratic values, assimilate national culture, develop self-improvement, and have vision. In order to achieve this aim, the interrogative educational philosophy of our Faculty; Focusing on national and international developments and innovations in teaching and learning and the assessment and evaluation processes that complement these, Sensitivity to the educational problems of the society, public and private institutions, It is based on the principles of transparency and sharing in producing science.
