At the entrance, the lady at the consultant said we could go, but when we came to the water well in the garden of the mansion, a gentleman working in the provincial tourism directorate said that we could not travel because of the work. We did not understand either, there is no 50 meters between them, they are both employees of the same place, but it seems like there is a problem in sharing information.

That's all for the center. Let's get to the bakibey mansion. Burdur's largest and most well-known mansion. The officials said that although it reflects 17th century architecture, it is a place from the 18th century. 2-storey stone building. The most important feature of this place is the roof decorations and fine workmanship in the upper rooms. The most beautiful place is the lounge, called Başoda, where guests are welcomed or, in other words, a guest room. This room is pretty big. There is a barn downstairs. Its garden is quite big. It has a similar architecture to the stone room. The view is also very beautiful. Although there is no place above it, it gives you the feeling of being on the hill with its view and its unobstructed view. You can easily see the clock tower and the grand mosque right across. There are no restaurants, cafes, etc., just like in the Taşida mansion on the opposite side of the road. I also recommend you to visit the back streets of Bakibey mansion. There are beautiful old houses. So it is a place to see here, where nothing happens. The location of the Bakibey mansion, on the other hand, is on the street on the left while going up the creek from the bridgehead. Very easy to place.

I liked it very much. Konak is one of the examples of Ottoman civil architecture (17th century). The Head Room is magnificent... Pencil work, gold leaf embroideries, stained glass... Especially the wooden nailing technique used on the ceiling is magnificent. Downstairs (Formerly the barn and two rooms) there is a Cafeteria and a beautiful garden.
