Baia Lara Hotel

The Positives: - Lovely Hotel Landscape/Design - Cocktails at the pool bar in the evening - the ladies working at the kids club are very caring towards the children - the photographer did a great job taking pics of our family. The Negative: - The Food!!: Lunch is basically a just eat takeaway - nuggets, chips, kebabs, pizzas& fried chicken. Dinner is terrible; everyday you get roast chicken & beef/lamb but they are really fatty and dry. They have a theme everyday and if its international cuisine you know is just all the leftover put into stews. Yuk! I know many couples sick of the food and sneaking into other hotels to have there meals. We all tried to complain but it fell on deaf ears with the Hotel and the TUI rep. - Ice cream is only offered for 90 mins after lunch. Why not longer during the day? - The mini bar in the room would not always be topped up and was limited to some soft drinks and 2 beers due to COVID. - Have to pay to room service. If you do not offer wine in the mini bar, what option do we have? We ended up just having to sit at the bar downstairs longer with two young children where we could have just relaxed on the balcony. - The waterslides are really poor. Only two work properly, the rest of the longer ones you get stuck on and have to pull yourself down I stayed at the Barut Lara two years before this and i honestly recommend staying there more than this place.

I stay 10 days in hotel, staff was incredible and trying to do their best. Whit honest and kind guest relation helps a lot. Price was ok and servis was good. Thanks for all see you next year

Very poor quality food, plates and glasses are not clean but unwashed and greasy !!! Glue the dishes by hand !!! Never deserves 5 * stars but maximum 3 * In Antalya I come every year to other hotels, but so poor quality of food and dirt on plates and glasses, I have never seen before !!! This is scandalous! I will never come here again!

I've been staying in Baia Lara hotel for 7 days, first 4days we did not even feel like we exist in the hotel! Some staff where unfriendly and no hospitality! I even made a complaint to guest relations manager, their response was that it will be better from Monday! It eventually got improved but what about those 3,4 days that have been missed? Please consider that it only got a bit better! Not a massive change! Food quality was below the average of resorts in Antalya, way below! Not many options to choose in between and quality was just mah! Entertainment was absolutely a disaster! Their show time program was far from away from being entertaining... if you do like dancing and music, this hotel is not for you cause they have only 2 hours of music in the night and no more... At the end, if you are Iranian and thinking about going to this hotel, please don't! There are other hotels that their staff are treating all their guest in same way... here as I mentioned before, for the first few days we were completely ignored... i could see the same staff behaving to other guest from different nationalities in way better and different way...

Nice hotel. The food is good, not top but it's ok. Two things that can be improved. First is the towel placing of the guests. At busy times it's hard to get a chair at the beach or pool. And when you count, more than 80% is unoccupied, just chairs with towels. Second thing, even more important, is the smoking regime in the hotel. It really lacks non smoking areas! Nothing worse than relaxing on the beach or eating in the a la carte restaurant and someone blowing smoke in your face. This is 2021, please create non smoking areas!

Stayed at the hotel for a week. It’s overall a nice hotel, clean and staff is friendly. I have been to a few a resorts I like the hotel style of an all-inclusive hotel. The property is on the smaller side, which for us is great. We like smaller resorts, especially with a baby. Our seaside room, is partial in my opinion but you still get a great view. Food is great, especially breakfast. The pools are wonderful, there’s a kids section, bowling ally, SPA etc... beach is nice, water is great. We came during a low season, the capacity was low and we loved it! Beware room service is not included in your all inclusive it’s an extra charge if you get hungry, and one of the restaurants is also not included. The cabanas on the sea that face towards the water must be reserved for 80 euros. It’s been a pleasant but different experience for us compared to DR & Mexico. Overall we like the resort. Will probably try another one next time we visit Antalya. Improvements: lack of USB plugs to charge phones, you have to pay to get your kids swimming tubs filled up with air was a pain. More so than was the lack of USB plugs, I’ve never been to a hotel in my life where there isn’t a least one. Thankfully we had 1 convertor for my daughters white noise machine. I would suggest having guests wear bracelets that can open the doors. Our key cards weren’t working and we had to keep getting it reset. Also the towel card is odd, if you lose the card you have to pay 20 euros. I’ve never been to a resort where you have to show a card for towels.

Great hotel! Great place to just relax, enjoy the sun, pool and food. This was our 2nd visit, and unfortunately we did notice that compared to 8 years ago service is not as good anymore as not many staffmembers speak english, and the little details that made it special last time are now gone ( e.g. previous time sunning by the pool, they would walk past to hand out little snacks). Also unfortunately in October the pool is already icecold and hard to swim in.

The good: Personal was very helpful and friendly. The Bad: The main dishes were not very tasty. Also I had the feeling that the personal couldn't cope with getting everything clean. Also the nightly entertainment was not much... very boring music.. The Ugly:I had booked one of the high priced lake houses were you have the pool in front of your door, and less guests. My assumption was that we would be more or less alone there. To a part it was true as only less than a third of the houses were booked. But the pool was open to all guest! So everyone was also there! Very unhappy about that! Could have saved a lot of money if I had known that before!
