The beautiful historical building has been officially destroyed. The special plaster and paint remained in very little place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are several restaurants in the area that have private seeing in little huts perched over the river that flows under you as you enjoy your meal. It seems a bit touristy but it's a nice way to relax and enjoy some meals between your other destinations in Cappadocia.

I don't know how to describe these ancient cave churches besides absolutely positively 100% astonishing!!!
These paintings are thousands of years old and are mostly intact even with constant interaction with the daily weather patterns of Turkey ???
I mean at the end of the day it's difficult to have paint last more than 10 or 12 years in a modern-day house and here we are with millenniums of age adorning these beautiful hand-painted hand-carved cave walls ???
Absolutely astonishing!
