It used to be the village of adi Günlü, and when the market place was added, it became the district of Okur. It is the third largest district in Düzce. It is barindiri among different ethnic groups. Türk is a Kurdish brother. The projectors trying to spoil it are treacherous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice mosque near weekly market, hospital, police station, pharmacy, ... Small and nice. Not a big Story but a place everyone can meet (at least Friday s, on Ramazan/period on fasting, ...).
