Ayaz Aqua Beach Hotel Gümbet

Receptionist Türkiz and Manager Tuğçe was very positive people, they received any problem as they vere calm, respond nicely with smile. And they let us have late check-out and had lunch before we left. Good food, good stay, good stuff. Thank you guys. I would go back. Abdurrahman Bildircin.

Arrived and greeted by nice lady and a guy who carried our cases to our rescue room v good first impression room was a family room to spacious shower was v good room was cleaned beds made everyday wonderful! Then meal time ! Have to say food was dire! Cold plates food platters left open to flies ... food generally catered for German guests. I have to say I’ve eaten better Turkish food at home! It was awful. The strangest thing none ov the dishes were labelled never come across this before so you simply didn’t know what anything was! Drink was no better no drinks menus drinks were served in children’s beakers and were often flat . On the whole quite dissatisfied. Pool was my saving grace. Staff apart from two mentioned on reception miserable and surly struggle to understand basic English like when asking for a certain drink though I can forgive that if they at least smiled ?

The hotel is very average. The good points was the pool and the rooms were generally nice. However the following were found to be below acceptable levels: - Food was well below average. Plus it was recycled and old food. - Service from the waiters were very average. As you eat, they took plates infront of us. The staff generally I believe need more training and better customer service. - Consistently we found clean dishes that were dirty. Told the waiter and they didn’t even apologies for the matter. - We had 2 rooms, both phones weren’t working. I had to go to reception when required. - Soft drinks were flat and the water bottles were being recycled rather than supplying new. - Lights were closed early into the night in the sitting areas and drinks weren’t available. - Our friend who stayed with us, their fridge wasn’t working at all. They attempted to fix it, but it didn’t get fixed. Their medicines were ruined.

quite correct hotel, good location, good pools in which the water is regularly controlled, a small number of deck chairs on the beach, solid hygiene, satisfactory food.

And this is a 4 star hotel? I have not seen such a dirty room even in the cheapest hostels. The rooms are dirty, old, not cleaned. The room has broken furniture, bed stuff all in brown and red spots.We found a lock of hair on the floor and a hair on a bed. Administrations didn't react much.All the time we shoud remind about situations that happened. Finally we already changed the room but it didn't change much the room was still dirty and bed stuff also.

This is the worst hotel in Turkey I have ever been to. The staff at the reception does not speak English, hygiene is a big problem, towels and bed linen are not changed during ten days. The food is average and the staff at the restaurant very unfriendly. The beach is beautiful, but there are 4 times fewer deck chairs than there are guests in the hotel ... This hotel is not even for 3 stars.

The quiet hotel near the beach. The good level of service, thanks to all people, who work there. Food/drinks served almost according to all inclusive system. The territory is not big, but it is an advantage, it makes it more like a boutique hotel. Excellent access to the city center 252 grey bus from the bus stop near M Migros shop will take you to the white chic Bodrum Marina center for 5 liras cost (it is even cheaper if you have the transport card).

The hotel has good location in Gumbet, which is convenient if you want to explore the area by foot. Food was great, the only thing that sometimes was an issue are long lines in restaurant because of corona, the stuff is serving the food, you can not take it by yourself (but that is the case everywhere I suppose). All hotel stuff was so kind and always at your disposal. All respect for them, working under masks all the time on such high temperatures! Also, special thanks and regards to entertainment team, who made our stay fun! :) Things that could be improved: the beach could be bigger, there is no space for all hotel guests, and the internet is not accessible in all rooms, but you could use it in hotel lobby without any problem.
