We went to this place, which was decent, for trying Turkish "Pide" . I think everbody who want to taste delicious food and try some cultural flavors should go there for a nice lunch.

Avanos is the origin of testi kebab. And one of the best, if not the best testi kebab is made by Şenol Bey. Testi kebab is prepared in a jar made of clay which makes meat and veggies super tender. Be aware you'll need to wait for your Testi for approximately an hour as it is made fresh for you and needs some time to cook so drop by early for your order and explore a little more of Avanos in the meantime. The wait is well worth it because instead of the usual stuff that's just shoved into the clay pot for show and brought to the table in like, 5 minutes you get the real deal here. The special feature of Avanos Pide Salonu is the oven. Not only the testi kebab is prepared here, but also pide. These were very tasty and perfectly prepared as well. Besides the food, the hospitality of Şenol Bey is outstanding. I can highly recommend this restaurant and will visit whenever I am anywhere close to Avanos!
