Giriş makul bir ücrete tabi olup öğrenci indirimi vardır. Bahçesinde ağaçlar ve yeşillikler içinde sakin ve güzel bir ortam oluşmuştur. Burada genellikle düğün fotoğrafı çekenlerle karşılaşırsınız. İzmit'li olup da buraları gezmeyen herkese tavsiye ederim, gidip herkesin gezmesi dilerim.

Onun dışında bina 1861 de yapılmış eşyalar orijinal ama perde..yatak örtüsü gibi kumaşlar sonradan getirilmiş.. halılar hereke'nin ilk halılarındanmış.. neredeyse oda büyüklüğünde ... sütun ve direklerdeki işlemeler muazzam.. ve aynı işlemeler bina dişında da kullanılmış
Tavanlar ayrı bir şaheser.. merdivenler mermer ve birbirine geçirmeli şekilde.. İzmit'te hiçbir yapıda görmedim?
Şimdiki zamanda hiçbir usta öyle iş çıkaramaz.. o dönem insanları mı ileri biz mi ileriyiz hala karar veremiyorum?

Atatürk 1923 yılında ziyaretinde basın toplantısını burada yapmış olup bir oda ona ayrılmış. Tavan süslemelerini Fransız ressam Sason yapmış, hayran kalmamak mümkün değil tam bir sanat eseri. Buraya çok yakın olan ve girişi ücretsiz Atatürk Redif Müzesinin de ziyaret edilmesi tavsiye olunur.
