İnşallah bir gün daha burdayım diyorum ve inşallah bu camiinin cemaati de çoktur..ami, Müslümanların ibadet için toplandıkları yer olarak tanımlanır. Cami sözcüğü, cuma namazı kılınan büyük mescit anlamına gelen “mescid-i cami” den kısaltılmıştır.
Müslümanlıkta cuma ve bayram namazlarının camilerde topluca kılınması zorunludur. Diğer namazlar, uygun yerlerde topluca ya da tek kılınabilir. Hz. Muhammet, camilerde cemaatle namaz kılmayı özendirmiştir. Böyle kılman namazların daha çok sevap olduğunu belirtmiştir.
Müslümanlıkta camilerin en önemli özelliği, Allah’a ibadet edilen özel mekanlar olmalarıdır.
Camiler ibadet dışında, Müslümanların birbirleriyle görüşüp kaynaşmaları, toplumsal sorunları cemaat arasında tartışmaları, eğitim ve öğretim (hutbe ve vaaz) yapılması gibi işlevlere sahiptir. Hz. Muhammet ve Dört Halife dini, toplumsal ve siyasi sorunları çoğunlukla camide tartışır ve çözümlerlerdi.
