Atatürk Kent Ormanı

This place is surprisingly good. It's very scenic and quite. The open area is quite big and very spacious. It is very fun for kids because you can have a big picnic on the grass. The cycling roads are also very spacious and scenic. And the car entrance is only 15 lira and it has a metro entrance strait into the park.

Quite a mystical course in a residential neighborhood. ?? Very calming ambiance around the valley. ⛰? Nice soft clay surface ideal for running jogging or walking. ??‍♂️??‍♀️ Various trails with different levels of difficulty some have optional steep climbs. ? Easy access with a car or underground. Lots of parking spaces nearby.???

A nature oasis to grab a breath of fresh air. Easily accessible via metro. You can almost not hear the sound of traffic in the heart of the park.

I was very impressed with Atatürk Kent Ormanı, it is such a lovely getaway from the noise of the city. The paths are clean and quiet and there's even a wide wheelchair accessible path above the trees from one metro station to the other. There's a Beltur cafe and children's play areas and benches along the way where you can sit. I didn't take the longer path down by the lakes this time, but I will definitely be back. After spending time with the trees, I didn't want to go back home by metro, so I took a short bus trip to Sarıyer and then traveled back down the Bosphorus line by ferry. If you can time this for sunset, it's a perfect relaxing day. :)

It’s one of the best walking area in the neighborhood. You can enter from many gates but what I prefer is the Metro station and the gate near the ministry of the agriculture on buyukdere cd. You can park your car there. its 15tl for the day. the toilets are always clean and the area is secure. There is a very cozy Cafe near Metro entrance and the prices are really reasonable. I love that area . When you walk your dog be careful to street dogs of the area

I would rate this place 5 stars easily for its natural beauty, but the development works carried by the belediye were unthoughtful and rushed. Some of the pathways are in terrible shape especially after each time it rains, lack of drainage turns the surfaces to a slippery slope and it keeps on crumbling even in dry weather. And whose idea it was to plant the pathway sides with plants that are not endogenous to this forest, and to water it by an irrigation system leaking and wasting water that can be saved for better purposes. It would have been much better to work with the plants that already exist there and rely only on rain and seasonality. Nonetheless, I do enjoy walking here besides the very steep up and down the hill parts of the pathways. And during spring time, it looks stunning. The longest walking pathway is 5KM but you can make it longer if you know your way through the park. There are at least 3 outdoor gyms. There are 2 paid bathroom areas and an arena for festivals and events. I do not think the festival area is a good idea becasue of the noise and its effect on the wild life of the park. No foods or drinks are sold here and I believe it should remain this way.

It is really a nice park, pretty huge, the playground has sand so kids can sit down and play with it with beach toys. There are benches next to the playground so you can sit next to your kids while they are playing. Across from the park there is a forest where you can sit down and have a picnic or have a walk. I didnt see all the park but I really liked it anyway.

Very nice park to spend a sunny day. Accurate and comfortable, entertainment for kids, sports zones.
