Located in Meydan Park, which is located in the middle of Trabzon, the statue is the work of Hüseyin Anka Özkan, one of the first sculptors of the Republic, and is among the first period sculptors of the Republic. Huseyin Ozkan, is the artist in many monuments in Turkey outside the monument in Trabzon. The reliefs on the right and left sides of the statue are worth seeing.
