The collectibles are beautiful. However, I think it would be much more enjoyable if there was something like an insert/catalogue that tells the stories of the collection pieces. I also appreciated the caring approach and smiling faces of the staff.

I found it by chance on November 10, 2020 and was shocked by what I saw. There were unique items presented in the museum, wonderfully preserved personal items, I liked it a lot! They offered halvah on the way out the door, I did not understand and asked; "Today is November 10!" Upon his answer, I stayed there, prayed and ate halvam right there. If you're nearby, make your way there, even if it's not on the road.

We visited a very nice museum. We had moments when we were very touched by hearing the stories of the objects, especially with the narration of the young friend in charge, and finally with the 6-minute video about Atatürk's Izmit story. We congratulate those who contributed. thank you

While we were wandering around the street, we saw an accident and reached him after a short incline. In a word, great place. I would recommend anyone passing by to take half an hour to see it. There are detailed and different items about Atatürk that you cannot see elsewhere, memories and images from Atatürk's original photographer. The mansion has been completely renovated and its interior has been made to remind Atatürk. It was very nice to have people who take care of you and give you deep information as if you had a private appointment when you entered. Your tour comes to an end with a beautiful memory that has been preserved for years, specially preserved until the cup of the last coffee our ancestor drank and the grounds in the cup. Before you leave, you are both proud with a video on Izmit and Atatürk, and you leave the mansion with a knot that collapses in your throat after feeling emotional. Thank you to everyone who contributed. The fact that it was all for FREE was also surprising and beautiful above all else.

It was an emotional visit for us. Our admiration for our ancestors increased. Especially when we saw the last coffee that he drank in good health, together with its grounds, we were deeply touched. The nightgown she wore during her illness, that famous Kalpak, coffee cups, pictures, what more? And our tears flowing in the last 7-minute cinevision show... Everyone from the security guard to the guide was very interested and smiling. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to bring us such a beautiful museum. By the way, it can be visited for free. It should definitely be visited with children.
