Hello I am an Algerian citizen and UK resident, while I am in Istanbul on the basis of 30 days tourusrc visa allowed for Algeria, I have received positive decision to my British passport application. Would I be able to use this reason to stay longer in Turkey (90 days allowed)?

Please we are asking the Turkish government to allow us our freedom of living. We always grateful to the turkish government for granting us permit to stay in Turkey. But now we are finding it very difficult for the Turkish government to extend out residential permits. Some people stays in Turkey doing there business that help the Turkish economy and every year many people go to their country to see family and most people use the turkish airlines to support the Turkish economy.but now that the government are not extending our residential permit what can we do? How can we go out of turkey to do our business? This is very hard for us. Please we are saying to the turkish government to please keep extending our residential permit.thank your very much

Greetings! I hope you are safe and sound wherever you are during this pandemic. You have a wonderful and informative website. I'm sure it helps a lot of people. I have a quick question. I'm sorry if it's not related to teaching jobs but I just can't find a better website honestly. I am 20 years old from Philippines andan employer wants to direct hire me in Turkey as a helper. I only have a highschool diploma. Do you think it would work and they would approve my visa? I'm so nervous because of my age. Thank you :)

I have a question. I have recently completed my masters degree here in a turkish university and my residence permit will expire in 2021. I recently found a job and my company wants to apply for my Work Permit. Now I wanted to ask that can they directly apply based on my current Student Residence Permit or I shall first have to change my Student Permit to Normal Residence Permit and then my company can apply. Please let me know as there are many unsourced information and i am too confused. Secondly it would be great if you can share the link of this new law that Master students can apply for Work Permit and have the right for that. Thankyou in advance.

I have used up my 90 days from the last 180but not overstayed but I want to return to apply for a resident permit. I have all the paperwork ready. Is it likely immigration would allow me through for ten days in order to be able to submit it?

Hello, I would like to inquire on the following. The validity period of my Turkish visa is from 29 November 2020 to 27 May 2021. According to the visa, the duration of stay is “30 days”. I entered Turkey on 29 November 2020 and will leave on 2 January 2020. Will I be fined? If yes, may I know how much is the estimated fine at Istanbul Airport? Thank you.

Good evening. Please, I have a couple of questions I hope I can get accurate answers to. Due to the pandemic, I've been told that the processing of Residence permits is taking long. I started the process in September and submitted my documents last week. I need to travel outside Turkey in December and I would like to find out if it will be possible for me to do that if my Residence permit is not ready by that time. If Yes, how shall I go about it? Is it possible to get a temporary residence permit? If Yes, what is the validity?
