There is a sign on the Elbistan Darende road after passing Yeniköy. Then there is no sign. Stony, dirt road.
After 300 meters, enter the road on the left and follow the right one at the next crossroad. 2 km after the main road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hitit döneminden kalma (MÖ 2000) aslantaşlar Darende'nin geçmişine ışık tutan eserlerden. Darende'nin güney batısında Darende Elbistan karayolu üzerindeki Yeniköy Mahhallesine yakın konumda olan bu taşların ilçeye uzaklığı 20 km'dir. Baş yüksekliği 2 metre, boy uzunlukları 2,5 metre olan iki adet aslan heykeli taştan yontularak yapılmıştır. Bu iki aslan heykeli düz bir ovanın içerisinde ulaşım açısından kolay konumdadır. Günpınar şelalesine de yakın olduğundan orayı ziyaret edenlerin de görmesi açısından da uygun yerdedir.
Aslan stones from the Hittite period (2000 BC) are among the works that shed light on Darende's past. Located in the south west of Darende, close to Yeniköy District on the Darende Elbistan highway, these stones are 20 km from the district. Two lion statues with a head height of 2 meters and a length of 2.5 meters were carved from stone. These two lion statues are located in a flat plain for easy transportation. Since it is also close to the Günpınar waterfall, it is also in a suitable place for those who visit there.
